The Haves and the Have Nots to End With Season 8 on the OWN Network

 

The long running OWN series The Haves and the Have Nots is set to end after Season 8.

The series is created, written and executive produced by Tyler Perry. 

The Haves and the Have Nots was OWN’s first scripted drama, debuting in May 2013. The show follows the lives of the rich and powerful Cryer and Harrington families and the hired help who work for them.  According to OWN, the series has averaged nearly 3 million viewers per episode during its run.

I thought the first couple of seasons of The Haves and the Have Nots were good, but the later seasons became a bit repetitive and over the top.

Season 8 began back in November and the final episodes will begin airing in May.
