Queen Sugar Renewed for Season 6

 

The OWN family drama Queen Sugar has been renewed for a 6^th season ahead of its 5^th season debut. 

Season 5 plans on tackling the Covid-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protest.  The season will also focus on Charley battling the Landry family, Nova launching a new website that supports the community, Ralph Angel moving forward with his relationship with Darla, and Micah navigating his freshman year at Xavier University.  

Season 5 premieres on Feb. 16 at 8 pm ET/PT on OWN.
